Our Data Recovery Process
From initial analysis to recovered-data delivery, our process is designed to keep you informed about the condition of your storage device, the possible recovery outcome, the applicable service fee and the final verification of recovered files.
Submit Your Device for Analysis
Submit your storage device to our data recovery centre for analysis. After your request is received, our data recovery team can contact you regarding the job and explain the next steps.
When contacting us about an existing job, keep your order or job reference ready so the team can identify the case correctly.
Hard Drive Analysis
After receiving the hard drive, initial tests are performed to analyse its condition. The purpose of this stage is to understand the problem and estimate what data may be recoverable.
If the data is especially critical or urgent, inform the recovery team so the requirement can be considered while discussing the available recovery approach.
Analysis Report & Service Details
After analysis, the report provides the information needed to decide whether to proceed with the recovery service.
- Problem Type: whether the drive has a physical or logical problem.
- Recovery Possibility: the expected recoverability based on the analysed condition.
- Time: the expected time required for the recovery work.
- Data Recovery Fee: the applicable service fee for the recovery job.
- Your Choice: you may review the report and decide whether to accept or reject the offer.
Data Verification & File List
After recovery, you can verify the important recovered files and folders. The page states that a file list is provided so customers can confirm whether the required data has been recovered.
Verification can be done online or by visiting the nearest data recovery centre. If the required important files are not present, the page states a No Recovery – No Charge policy.
Recovered Data Delivery
After verification, the recovered files are stored on an external storage device for handover. Customers can collect the recovered data from the recovery centre.
If visiting the centre is not possible, the existing page also describes delivery to the customer's address while taking security and privacy measures for the recovered data.
Before You Submit a Device
Share the device type, capacity, symptoms and the most important files or folders you need recovered. This helps the recovery team understand the requirement before analysis.
